We recently sold MacBlogz.com. At times the process was daunting, but the knowledge we gained was priceless. This entry hopes to shed some light on what it’s really like to have a piece of software acquired.

After a few weeks of hard work, we have successfully upgraded our printing methods. All of our Because Steve Says So shirts are now screen-printed completely by hand (one by one) locally here in Portland, Oregon.

Exactly a year ago today, Dave and I conceptualized what a multi-touch enabled Mighty Mouse might look. Roughly ten months later, Apple actually released a multi-touch enabled “magic” mouse (legal issues).

MacBlogz.com was one of the first high profile sites to be hosted on the RackSpace Cloud (used to be known as Mosso pre-acquisition). In August of 2009, the RackSpace Cloud featured MacBlogz as a “hot” cloud application.
